The recipe calls for extra finely ground beef. Ask your butcher or the meat department to run the beef through the grinder one or two extra times. It makes a difference in the recipe - the meat will be smooth and soft.

Cook Time: 45 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
- 3 lbs ground beef (ground extra fine)
- 1 large onion

Serving Suggestions:
Kofta is often served on flatbread (without skewers) or pita bread. It is also common to see it served on a hotdog bun.User ReviewsReviews for this section have been closed. It shouldn't take 45 minutes for baking at 350 F, Member JasminePoomI tried this recipe yesterday by adding some cilantro and cumin as one of the reviewers suggested. Unfortunately, I left it in the oven for 45 minutes at 350 F baking. It turned out to be too dried and the meat ball got burn at the bottom. However, I think if I changed the cooking time to 25 minutes, it would be better.
